I used to think that the only purpose of exercise was to make yourself smaller.

After attending a post natal Pilates class, at about 2 months in to being a new mum, did I realise that this is absolutely not true! You exercise to help you function day to day, to be strong enough to deal with the challenges of being a new mum, to give you the time to yourself when you’re touched out.

You are going through a huge transformation and it is incredible! There are a lot of changes physically and mentally and exercising throughout pregnancy and beyond is AMAZING for you and your body. Honour your body during this time and treat it with love and respect, not punishment.

    I have struggled to find time to exercise since having my daughter and lack confidence in weight training. Frances was supportive from the very beginning, during our consultation she made me feel at ease to try new things and get back into working out.
